Advice Needed

How does any one suppose the mag limit will be enforced. Random searches, systematic searches, honor system?

Good question. "Kick down the door" and search your house ? "Road blocks"? What next ? Do you/they have CCW out there or is that also very limited too ? I'd figure with the size of the population,it would be if something happened and you did have a handgun it'd better be legal.

Your mags will probably last quite a while, if my experience is any indication. The magazine that came with my Colt Commander in 1968 still works fine. I have used it a lot, and still do from time to time. I know it was left fully loaded for about four-years at one time when I was a young fellow. Still works fine. I have other magazines from guns made in the late-60s and the 70s and I can think of only one that is not serviceable. It was a piece of junk from the day I received it (also a Colt magazine).

I am sorry you have to put up with this ridiculous nonsense but it is obvious your governor has the necessary support to pull it off. For your sake, I hope that support goes up in smoke before the next election.

No competition, just concealed carry.

Just to make you feel better. I still have original Colt Mags that still work just fine from back in the mid 70's. They are OEM Colt's. The few after market ones (I used more for competition),didn't fair quite so good, but if need be I could have cannibalized a few to have kept the other ones going. I also have 10-22 mags from 1973 that also work just fine. Soo,it might not hurt to have some extra parts on hand for the insides for the long haul. But I wouldn't be overly worried about it.
