Pocket Carry CS9

I carry J frames in my pocket. I usually found it easier to draw the CS9 in a concealed Nylon Holster that looked like a camera pack on my hip. I carried 10 years that way without issue. Maybe i never found the right pocket holster. I think a holster is required to prevent accidental discharge with anything else in your pockets and drawing under pressure. Never had an issue with thickness or the factory grips.

Yes with the trigger covered by the holster, it prevents accidental/negligent discharge. Also in Texas I believe it is required by law that to carry a handgun, it must be in a holster. I use a sticky holster for pocket carry. Atwoods usually has them available in their stores.

I pocket carry my CS9S in a Clinger Comfort Carry. That's a nice, not very expensive holster that can be used IWB as well. I don't since I think there are better options if I decide to so that.

I also sprung for the Terc Gen version of the Big Dog grips, with a Pachmyar Slip On grip sleeve to make more "grippy."

Kahr base plates for CS-9 mags

I'm trying to make my CS9 better for pocket carry.
My question is, can I put a model 39 magazine base plate on the CS9 magazine to make it flush fit?

You can use Kahr base plates to get a flatter look.

has anyone taken a chance and tried the RDWACCESSORIES polymer grips on ebay?
they're from turkey and cost $90 with shipping.
i wonder if they fit well and are thinner than the wood ones... or if they fit well and can simply be thinned and re-stippled.

They look interesting. A little bit on the expensive side for an unknown quality product, but may that's just me.

i agree... that's why i asked if anyone had any experience with them.
if they're relatively thin and they fit well, and they are slicker than the stock ones, could be a winner.
