Thanks Terry it's a dash 2 &1/2 non pinned barrel tight as a drum no major dings ect so its a keeper

Is the 686 a 7 shot or 6 shot? Strictly speaking, as a defensive gun (not considering value) I'd rather have 7 shots over 6. If they are both 6 shot then there's no reason whatsoever to make the trade.

Congrats on a very wise decision Browns Fan I don't believe you will regret it. Enjoy your 65 and please don't give it a steady dose of magnums. 38 special will keep it singing happy tunes a long long time.
