Serial number is 2D29883. Its nickle plated and I believe this was purchased in the mid to late 1970's. I have looked everywhere to track down the age with no luck. Its in mint condition with original box, manual ect.... Just curious of the age. Thank you for any help.

Hi,
This must be the week for model 10-5 purchases. I also just bought this model in nickel plate for my wife who fell in love with the gun. It's serial number is C619888. I'm guessing it to be a product of the late 1950's or early 1960's. There is also another number just below the model number that I don't understand (77521). Any thoughts on what that number refers to?

Also, where can one find a schematic of this weapon?

Thanks,
Tranquility

Welcome to the Forum. The C prefix and number make it a late 1962 or early 1963 shipped gun. The other one is called an assembly number, which were stamped on major parts to keep them together after fitting and before final assembly. Try e-gunparts.com for a diagram; they have them free for some guns and at a small fee for others. Hope this is helpful.

PS The schematic is there on the site, for free.

Thanks so much for the lineage om my wife's new gun. I'll find the website you mentioned to download the schematic. I am continually amazed at the amount and quality of information available on this forum.
