Perfect cool weather and a passel of guns to shoot.

S&W 657 .41 Magnum
S&W 624 .44 Spl.
S&W 60-4 .38 Spl.
S&W 60-15 .357 Magnum
And a bump around Charter Arms.38!

Doing 20 yard standing stuff..

Top left is S&W 624 .44 spl with 250gr SWC hard cast.
Top right has two guns firing. The small group dead center is the S&W 60-15 (man does it shoot well!!)

The scattered shots are the Charter Arms 2 inch Undercover (made in Stratford.) The front sight is too big and being stainless very hard to see!

Dead middle group is two part. 4 shots 657.. shot low. Adjusted the sights and last two are higher.

Bottom left is 60-15 again. Bottom right is S&W 60-4 .38. First shots are left.. adjusted sight and almost dead on.

.38s were 146gr Wadcutters and 3.1 gr. Bullseye.
.44s were 250gr SWCHC and I think 6.5 grains Unique.
.41 was 210 SWCHC and 6.8 grains Unique.

I then, using the 60-15 (I had lots of .38 ammo) was shooting pieces of orange clay pigeons on the backstop at 25-30 yards!! Then tried my hand at 100 yards standing with the .41 and .44.

All in all a good day. Now the unfun part... I got to clean them all tonight and pick up brass into the bins.

That's some mighty nice offhand shooting at 20 yards.

I sure can relate to the 624, the 657 and 60-4. Yet I doubt my results would be as postable!

Thanks for the inspiration to, so to speak, get the lead out and get to the range!

Ya know, I love these revolver shooting reports/posts. Those are some nice revolvers. I think, deep down, even the tacti-cool guys like to shoot a wheel gun every once in a while.
I was always amazed when Dad would pull out that massive .22 and knock a beer can across the yard!

Nice shooting! And some great eye candy too.
