I broke down and had my local FFL order me one. It arrived today. I am very happy with it being police trade in. Now to field strip it and clean it up.

Yes, at $269.95 I took a chance. With tax and shipping it was a hair over three bills. I was worried about the condition it would be in. I was surprised that it was in such good condition.

Nearly identical to mine, mine had more scratches, grips were about the same. I took and put a 18 pound hammer spring, polished the trigger, it's now around a 7 pound trigger, and smooth as the day is long. I put S&w 1911 brass bead front sight,
And blacked out Novak rear. Gun shoots great, appears to have mauve 1500/2000 rounds in it. Awesome score!
