Preflight and a flyby, opening ceremonies for the American Air Museum in Britain, Imperial War Museum at RAF Duxford (1 Aug 1997). I took the preflight shot, my wife took the flyby pic.

Just made it to Duxford for the first time this past May. Most enjoyable thing I saw over there other than family.
 
Since my like button would probably barf a furball from over use I would just like to say GROUP LIKE A LOT. 😎
 
My uncle Eddie dedicated the Mosquito on display at WPAFB Museum. It was like one of his birds that operated out of N. Africa during WW II doing night interdiction mission into Italy. At one time, long ago there were two Captain Harney's stationed at the Flight Dynamics Laboratory at WPAFB.de-havilland-mosquito-at-the-wright-patterson-air-force-museum-in-ANW1GE.webp

that is very cool, great photographs. 👍

I got to 'fly" a T-6 Texan a few years ago. I used the rudder and the stick and the real pilot in the back seat took care of the hard stuff. 😁😎 The noise, the smell, it was glorious.
