Hi I just wanted to tell you about mt recent purchase from Ajax Grips. The good news super fast shipping. Now the bad. I bought a set grips for my S&W J Frame from them and went to put them on the gun and one of the panels was warped. I took me 1 hr to file it down to fit. I got it about 98% to fit right. Sure I could have did the whole send it back thing and I'm sure they would have sent me another set but I just didn't want to deal whit that. After reading about the New and improved Ajax I went for it. I was going to post even if I was happy with them to let all you guys know that too. I emailed but haven't herd back.

Was this old stock that had set on a shelf forever? I see old Ajax grips in several stores but they went under years ago. I see that 2R has bought the name and they seem to be trying to market that brand now.

Not sure if it's new stock or old but shame on them for selling off old bad stuff. I hate bad mouthing a company on the net but this just pisses me off. And they even email me back!

If I buy used grips or old stock I always ask if they can lay them flat on the glass counter just to make sure they aren't warped from setting for so long. I have bought some older grips and had the same issue you described. If they are indeed selling off old stick then they really should inspect them.

Up date. I talked to the owener of Axjax today and I'm happy to report he's going to make things right and send me out a new set of grips tomorrow. We talked for a bit and he seems like a nice guy to deal with. I would definitely buy from him again.
