Old, retired navy sub skipper; now interested in S&W revolvers; mostly Model 36 Chiefs; Model 10 (shooter) and the rimfires (none on board right now, looking). Looking to learn, have the Standard Catalogue of S&W for reference. Seems to be a good book; a lot of detail there but the input from experienced collectors is even better.

All the above. One tour on SSN-588 and then tours on 4 boomers; CO James Madison (SSBN-627)Gold. Was enlisted CB prior to commissioned service. Small world; step-father was a WWII Seabee in Pacific(Somewhere??).
