When we lived in Washington state we took a cruise in the Caribbean. Now that we live in Arizona, she wants a cruise to Alaska. Go figure.

Have fun.

I was TDY up there once in the middle of January, hope you have a better time than I did. Have a good time!!

Took a two week cruise/land tour a couple of years ago. LOVED IT! You will not regret it. Best trip I have ever taken. Best wishes -- we expect to see some photos!

Alaska

I lived on an Island in the Gulf of Alaska for a year in 1962-1963 and wouldn't take anything for the experience. One note; the weather was warmer on the island than it was back in North Carolina that year. Go figure. Have an great Cruse.

I have four friends leaving for an Alaskan cruise on the 15th also. (I was supposed to go, but the stroke got in the way)

Hope you have a ball!!!

You will love the cruise. Me, my wife, son and her parents took a cruise to Alaska and loved it. I've been wanting to take to train tour but haven't got around to it yet. Hope you have a wonderful time. Don't forget to take some pictures to post here for us!

I did a Princess cruise from Anchorage last month.

Got to see some scenery up in Glacier Bay and College Fjord that's impossible to see otherwise.

Have fun, check out the knife shops in Skagway and Ketchikan.
