All .22LR Ammo is gone?

Just went to 2 super walmarts and all I seen left is 22 lr shorts! but then again you have to get lucky to find something that's in cuz they are always out!

.22 Long Rifle Shorts??? :)

I've never seen Long Rifle Shorts before. Long Rifles, yes. Shorts, yes. :D

I have checked every week since thanks giving and the two closest wal mart stores to my house are always out of Fed Bulk .22 and Fed .45 ACP. Really getting frustrating as I have never had this issue in the past.

My local Walmart is also out of all their 22cal. The guy working the counter said that people have been coming in and buying $300.00 - $400.00 worth of ammo at a time. Also all 9mm and 45 cal. was also sold out.

picked up a case of fed bulk yesterday at Ft. Thompsons in Little Rock. 19.99 box / 5250rds. came up to about 217 after taxes. They had about 5-6 cases on display. I've never been lucky at Walmart.. I believe people know the schedule and are there the instant they're put on the shelves. Maybe with help from insider info. lol

All .22 @ Walmart/Meijers gone. Meijers has a few 100ct boxes of Super X(thinking about giving it a try)..Local gun store has .22 ammo, but I dont want to pay $11 for 100rnd of mini mag

Local Walmart I have been picking up Winchester 333 or 555 every time I stop in. They always have one or the other in stock.

5250 rounds? Now that's a deal.

Just returned form my local Walmart here in central KY. Not one .22 of any brand to be found, no 9mm or .380,.45, only thing they had was some .270 and shotgun shells. I have never seen them without some .22 in stock, good thing I have about 5,000 rounds on hand.

22lr ammo

What in the world is going on with the ammo? Unable to find ANY .22lr of any brand anywhere! Anyone else know where I can get some at?:)

Been going by my walmart after work everyday for 2 weeks, no .22 at all, really not much of any ammo. Today went by and they had gotten in some ammo but not much. Only .22's they had were the Remington 22 golden bullet 225 ct. boxes for $9.97. I know the manual does not recommend them but I bought 2 boxes just to try some and try some in my Sig 522 also. My LGS has some CCI target loads left so picked up some of those too.

You will not find any ammo until the crazies run out of money . I can maybe understand the AR and mag purchases but buying up all the ammo is crazy . There has been no talk of an ammo ban but you would think so . I think most are buying to resale later ,buying because somone else is buying or buying just so you cant . Your just going to have to wait it out .

My LGS was rationing it out into 50 or 100 round bags.

Went to every store in my town today and couldn't find a single box.

The one's getting if for re-sale and making $$ will be eating it when prices get back to "normal" again.

I went to my local Wally World today to find pepper spray for my sister (I bought her Blackhawk). I picked up the last four boxes of mini mags for $7.27 a box. The price wasn't great, but I joined the panic buying, I guess.

Went to Cabela's today and ammo was selling faster then they could put it on the shelves. I saw at least 25 325 round bricks go off the self in less than 5 minutes. It was crazy!!!
