So, I'm still on the lookout for the perfect ccw gun for my wife. She isn't a big help, so far all she has told me is that, "it has to be stainless and have pink grips." We had another 'talk' about it last night, and I finally made her tell me why she was so insistent on getting pink grips. She told me that it was the only sure way that I would leave her gun alone once she got it....talk about being totally busted..oh ya, I had it on my mind.

So anybody else ever buy a gun for you wife/girlfriend (or husband for you ladies out there...ladies only please...seriously)and end up taking it away from them...or using it more than them???

Not unless I want it used on me! Corrine adopted the 6" Model 17 and the 4" Model 66. I am now only allowed to clean them? In fairness, she does allow me to fire them, after she's done doing so...

Guilty, bought myself a 5906 and my wife the LS 3913 way back when. I carry the 3913 on the trail and on the bike. Guns are seldom on my wife's radar screen so I get away with it.

My wife bought a model 60 in 357 for herself. She couldn't shoot it with full power ammo and said it was like a brick in her purse. I found a used 442 and traded her. Both have CT laser grips hers with Corbon 110 +p mine with Speer 135 SB. We like j frames but like most every body, if I got in a WOS I would rather have a 625.

Guilty as charged, I bought a 332 for my sweet and she refused to give up the PPK, so IT IS MINE NOW.

My wife has some Glocks...don't know the numbers, but I think there is a 9mm,.45ACP, and a .40. I don't have any interest in those, but I have adopted her PPK/s. She will remind me when prompted, however, that it is still hers. In return, she carries a 642 that I've provided on an extended lend/lease deal to her.

She keeps adopting mine.. Then when she finds something she likes better, she buys it and gives the old one back to me..

Poor pooor me!

As long as she likes guns and shooting, I ain't gonna say a word. Besides, she can out shoot me!!

Well, at least there are a few honest guys on here. It seems some of you can't keep your women away from Your guns...I wish I had that prolem...well, maybe not.
Sip, you actually confused me enough that I went back over my post twice making sure I didn't mess up!!

I borrow her SP-101 whenever I get the chance.

She has the wood inserts from Ruger in the grips to make it pretty.

My ex has been looking for a .45 1911 the past couple months, so I called her when I came a cross a NIB Para Ordnance 1911 7.45 with a sweet trigger pull of about 4# while browsing my local dealers this afternoon. She met me at the shop, looked at a few Sigs and Kimbers in .45acp and bought the Para. If she hadn't, I would have!

Sorry to hear that Dick, my first passed away in '85. God bless them both.

My wife just adopted one of mine, a Browning Hi-Power that she shoots really well. I in turn bought her a new Beretta 20ga shotgun that had such beautiful wood I couldn't cut the stock to fit her so I just kept it for myself. I hope she understands.

Charlie took my KelTec P32, which is ok with me because I actually prefer the P3AT.
