All Ruger for Self Defense?

If I could only have three carry guns I’d pick:

S&W 340 M&P
Ruger SP-101 2.25”
Ruger GP-100 3”

I’ve carried each of those guns at various times for years, and I trust them. If you want an all Ruger line up I suppose you could sub the LCR for the 340, but I’d rather have the 340.

Even with a CCW, we can't open carry in the woods.

So, I'd carry one of my three concealed weapons when hiking.

I do have a 60-9 357, but it really has no clear advantage over the LCR 357 -- and it's much heavier.
I remember open carrying in National Forests with no problems in California. Seemed some National Parks did have restrictions. But it's been a few years since I left, so yeah I'm sure it's become more restrictive since then. One of the MANY reasons I got out of there!

Similar dilemma with my LEOSA card - limited to four (4) listed guns.
Currently it's the eclectic assortment of this:
S&W M&P .45 (my contracting work gun)
Glock G19 9mm (my backup contracting work gun)
S&W M640 .357
S&W M65 3" .357

Figured this would cover the widest range of what I may carry with the exception of various 1911's. But, I also have my state's CHL (CC permit)
that lists nothing for hardware.
