All stainless commander

Wish they'd add an all stainless option to the 1911 E series commander. I wonder if anybody has heard of such a possibility.

That's a thing of beauty J.R.! And it seems to look even nicer the more I look at it. I really like the simple, classy, smooth wood grips with it. Very nice indeed-

I'm actually thinking though that I'd be interested in one with either a round butt or a bob tail. Unfortunately I'm in one of those states that limits your options. But the current E series is ok where I am. Now if they would just make a commander in all stainless, I'd be good to go.

Just for the record, the stocks are Mastodon Ivory. She IS all stainless steel. THANK YOU!

Several years ago form SPRESSER KNIFE WORKS - Charles does an out standing job. He lists a lot on GB which I believe is where I found these. When I got my little browning 1911 .22 I contacted him for some Sambar Stag stocks. He didn't have a gun, but got one in short order and this is what I got.

I have had a good many stag stocks down through the years and these rank right up there with the best.
