I ordered a grab bag of parts from eBay that the seller wasn't sure if they were from a Model 39 or a model 59. It is a COMPLETE parts kit minus the frame and the magazine. On closer inspection I see that it has a ring hammer, and the large extractor. I'm pretty sure it is a model 39 no dash. I'm sure that finding a model 39 no dash frame is going to be nearly impossible, but, maybe I'm wrong -- Does anybody know where to even start looking for such a thing? I've checked the SARCO web page (they sometimes have parts for things) and digging around on gunbroker and gunaution and gunsamerica didn't yield any fruit. I've even posted a couple WTB ads here and there. I would really love to reunite these parts with a frame.

Check with Numrich they just might have one. Dale

I checked their website, it's listed as part number 25 in the schematic, but it's not in the list of actual parts. I'll email them and see.

I bought this parts lot to get new fire controls for a 39-2 that has a hammer follow issue as well as a 439 that has a weak slide stop plunger, but these parts are so complete and all in such good shape, they had to come from the same gun - possibly a complete spare parts kit for some armory somewhere, or perhaps an unissued surplus gun that wasn't worth going through the trouble of importing the frame, so it was stripped and the non receiver parts were imported, or something.

Many parts kits come from police depts. They confiscate the guns, many must be destroyed by their regulations. Since the frame/serial number is the controlled part that is what is destroyed, and the parts are sold or traded for something the dept needs, ie, ammo or gunsmithing services.
