You are a lawyer right? Why don't you sue them?
You know what makes me madder than hell when I go to walmart? I start out the door, no bells or alarms going off, and one of their employees stops me and asks me to look at my receipt and check my bags. I ask them if they have a search warrant and keep walking.
I'd add to this but I don't want to offend that small minority of WM employees who don't deserve to be insulted.
I once waited at the counter for 15 minutes waiting for the employee who worked in the sporting goods section. I saw two boxes of .357 for a great price and couldn't pass it up.
15 minutes went by... no employee.
So.. I called my girlfriend and had her look up Wal Marts phone number. I called the store and asked if they could send someone to the sporting goods counter because I've been waiting there for 15 minutes! Very soon after, someone appeared.. go figure.
Pete, I too thought that pretty cheeky for only his 5th postBut I'm in a giving mood and so shall not engage in any witty reparte'. Once he makes his bones he's fair game, but for now he gets the rookie benefit of the doubt.

My point is as CCP holders, we are all under the microscope. Our actions will always be judge by the public in what is most likley an unfair light. As I stated, I understand your anger, we all have to deal with it in some way, and I never suggested that because we lose our temper now and then that we are not fit to have a concealed weapons permit. We all lose our temper sometimes, that's just part of life. Would I feel better if you had shown a passport rather than a CCP, no because I don't have any feelings over the matter one way or the other.
However where we live I would guess 90% of the people are morman. I really think due to that, the average people here is higher moraled as a group than anywhere else.
I can't imagine that happening at the sporting goods counter in their North Olmsted, Ohio store. You can't have a negative experience with a person who's not there and can't be found...
this is a true story. in our local wally world some years ago, i was writing a check for some purchase and they wanted a picture id. so i show them my passport. was told that wasn't proof of who i was by the manager. we had a limited discussion about that and they took the check without any further problem. apparently, word went up the line and i get a call from their district office telling me they would prefer that i use a drivers license from the state i live in. totally unreal.
By now we've all seen at least a million threads complaining about walmart's stupid employees/stupid policies/stupid stupids.
They're minimum wage people and you know what to expect. So why do you get your feathers ruffled when they ruffle your feathers? It's like going to White Castle to eat and then complaining there's not enough variety on the menu.
Shop someplace else if it bugs you that much. It's not rocket science.
