My new model 25 6.5" 45Colt arrived, and I am liking it fine, with one footnote; I am not that fond of the S&W Dymondwood grips. I have an arthritic middle finger, and don't enjoy getting it rapped by a trigger guard, and the exposed back strap seems to be transmitting just a tad more recoil than I expected. In the past I have found that Hogue monogrips did not really fit my large hands all that well, the finger grooves do not match my fingers, and I don't care for the tray screw mount very much. I was thinking of a set of Pachmayr Decelerators, but I have no experience with them, and saw some negative review comments on the Midway site. Don't know how well they accommodate speedloaders. Any opinions or suggestions?

Yes, the model 25-15 classic re-issue. Maybe I will try some shooting gloves until I toughen up a little. Old skin gets thin you know, and I am now well into my 4th quarter century.

I like the stocks on my 28 no dash. Herrett. I have a 25-15, and removed the stocks that came on it and replaced them with older Smith target grips. It feels much better to me now. Bob
