Will any of the other single stack S&W 9mm magazines work in the CS9? And if they will, does anyone make an adapter to fit over the magazine to fill in the part that would stick out of the grip?

When I had a CS9 I used both 3913 and 3906 series mags in it, but you are really only gaining 1-2 rounds. You also have to be careful not to slam the mag in too hard as there is no "stop" like there is on the shorter CS9 mags. Seems like I also had a mag for a 3953TSW (the short gripped model) which was pretty much the same as the CS9 mag. I am not aware of any adapter, it makes sense, but I don't believe one was ever made.

Yes. I just received a CS9 and picked up two 39xx 8rd mags. I was looking for the 9rd older version, but now that I have these, I will look for the followers for the 9rd.

No Spacers YET. That was the 1st thing I thought of. I have started doing research on finding 1/4 inch thick something to fitt the gap.

I have purchased old style TSW grips that have the small filler on the back side. There has been discussions about retro-fitting them to the CS9. Not unlike the nice grips make at one time by Big-Dog. Currently he is making them with-out the back-side filler.(C attached BD CS45)

If you find material for fillers, pipe up..

Additionally, I would like to find a source for the mag floorplate that contours like the one of BD's CS45, rather than the finger grip.

Congrats on your new CS9.
