Went to the gun show today in Pharr TX.Sold an SR9 and a Beretta neos and ran over and bought an M&P 9 the last one.Guns were flying off the tables but $510 seemed okay to me.Got her home and drooled over it cause the range was closed and I have to work tomorrow.I checked it out and cleaned some excess oil from frame.

Put my trusty dummy load in and I can not make it fire.It acts like its locked as some models do but no lock screw I can see.

Would someone give me a sequence that would make it dry fire?
Can it be the piece? What do I tell the dealer?Cash sale.

thanks in advance

Magazine in, safety off? Slide fully forward? Your information is minimal........

As long as it works that's all that really matters! :D
Enjoy your new toy..............

Are you sure the safety is off?

Does it have a mag safety?

Remove the variable (dummy round) and try it.

Yes, make sure mag is in, remove dummy round and dry fire it. Could be either mag safety, sear disconnect or slide is not fully in battery.]]
