I just picked up a M&P 4" today...picking up a rifle I ordered and of course I -had- to look around.
Anyway, looking up the ser#, C21##, in SCOSW only gives me 1948-1951. It's in good shape, typical holster wear marks, matching numbers, not a spec of rust or pitting in the finish and original grips. No box.
I'm guessing since the number is 4 digits it's probably a 1948. Am I correct?
It'll be a good companion to the '49 K-38 I bought a few months ago.
