Ammo for ported barrel

I own both a 380ez and PC MP Shield 2.0 9mm. I am looking for an approved Home Defense ammo. What is recommended? Both guns have a ported barrel.

Whatever ammo you can find, given the current dearth of ammo, will work for home defense.

Some ammo is designated not for ported barrels. That will be noted on the box.

I'm unaware of anything denominated "approved Home Defense ammo".

Steer clear of bare lead if possible, I have good results with copper jacketed but did have some build up using high teck coated in higher velocities and pressures of 454's and 460's.

If you can find any low flash defensive ammo that would be best for home defense, ported or not. I have never had any issue with any type of ammo in my ported guns however.

I received a box of self defense ammo from a friend (empty shelves at stores) and the box indicated not for use on ported barrels. When buying from the internet it is hard to see the box to see if they say the same thing.
