Cabelas has bulk federal on sale for 75.99/2100 figured id share the info!

I'm pretty sure that special has been going for a little while now. I want to say at least a month?

It's still a darn good deal with the dry box...especially if you're able to avoid shipping by picking it up in the store.

not sure if its really a sale.

walmart regular price $19 per 525.
19/525 = 03.619047 cents/rd.
76/2100 = 03.619047 cents/rd.

the free dry box is the only difference, otherwise don't go out of your way to spend extra

Once again, Walmart pwns all.

What does the dry box look like?

A plastic .50 cal ammo can, essentially. They aren't too bad for the cost; i.e. sort of free when bought in a deal with ammunition. I wouldn't buy one separately for the $14,99 Cabela's charges, as a real ammo can is far superior.

I just bought 1000 rounds of Federal Lightning from Walmart for $31.75. 3.175 cents per round

CCI Mini-Mags for $5 something on Wholesale Hunter

While this may be true based on product cost alone, you have to factor in local taxes, cost of gas to get to your local Walmart and one's own time. Since my nearest Walmart that sells ammo (let alone the quantity I want to purchase) is over 30 miles away and the sales tax at 9.75%, it actually becomes cheaper to go with Cabelas.

Dunn's sporting goods 159.99 for 5250 Federal champion. Not bad deal got mine in yesterday.

That is different for everybody, thats why I didn't mention it. Cabelas will also charge to ship your items if you order online unless you spend x amount of dollars first. If theres a Cabelas in your state, they will charge sales tax too.

Allota times Gander is cheaper because they don`t charge shipping. I think with the price of gas going up free shipping could end up the deciding factor. But then again Gander might drop free shipping. Still usually it`s cheaper if you just grab it at WalMart when they have it.

Just recieved Cabela`s shooting catalog. They have:

CCI .22 LR Tactical 1,500 rds $94.99 w/storage box 6.3c/rd
CCI .22LR standard velocity 500rds $36.99
Federal .22LR bulk ammo (36grCPHP ) 2,100rds $75.99 W/storage box 3.6c/rd
The price per round was determined by them. It would vary if shipped. Price`s good Until June 30th 2011
