I ordered two blazer bricks this month and one CCI mini mag 300 pack... I got one blazer, the other two were back ordered

Well yesterday I was blessed with a shipping notice for 5,250 rds of federal champion 22lr back order from midway. This is on top of 10,000 plus, all found in 2014. This takes me out of the market for 22lr. I am leaving it all to y'all. The best advice I can give you is use the cabelas cart links that are posted in ammo links. I was pulling as many as 3,000 rds a week. I did not pay more than 10 cents a round with shipping, and only that much because I prefer CCI and Federal. Happy hunting BiggB

thanks... We used to have a thread on the ruger site before it got shut down... I haven't gotten much 22 since then. I shoot it more than I find it...

Here's the current ammo stockpile. Picked up the brick of Blazer at a LGS today.

IDK what it is, but around here, LGS employees have attitudes worse than the freakin' BMV. They make trying to support your local businesses a hassle. And they wonder why so many people "showroom"...

I'd rather buy my firearms and ammo online and talk to you guys!

While not quite a flush as you are , I have been able to build up a nice inventory of standard bulk items (even with Cabela's cancelling so many of my orders), so much like you I am tapering off my 22LR buying for a while, except for CCI, when I can find it, anyway.

I was at Palmetto State Armory yesterday in Columbia. They had over a dozen bricks of CCI blazers in stock. Saw a few folks walking around with a brick in their hand. Got all excited til I saw the price - $49.95 for 500. More than double compared to Midway. Of course I passed, and then realized no wonder they have over a dozen bricks.

Yeah at PSA I've also seen Federal Champion 525's for $49.95. I pass, and stopped going there looking for .22 .

In that vicinity, try the Walmart in Ballentine between 7:00-8:00 each morning as often as you can. You'll eventually score. Then try the Walmart on Bush River the NEXT morning and odds are strong for a repeat score...at least in my experience.
Also, Sportsman's Warehouse just down the road from PSA gets their shipments on Sunday and their new ammo is put out for Monday 10:00 am opening.

I'm sorta done but always have a list of friends I'm hunting ammo for.

So far, my three Cabela's orders are on track. They have all been charged to my credit card and all show as shipping. I called my local Cabela's and asked them to check on their status, and they all say in route.

4 - CCI Tactical 300 rounds (.22LR)
2 - Hornady Critical Defense 25 rounds (9mm)
2 - Blazer Bronze 50 rounds (9mm)
1 - Blazer Bulk 500 rounds (.22LR)

Once they arrive, my ammo stash will sit at 4,450 rounds .22LR, 1,100 rounds .22Mag, and 800 rounds 9mm - not counting the mags I have already loaded (279 rounds .22LR and 195 rounds 9mm).

All of my orders were filled 100% and are waiting for me to pick up. Thank you for the tips on using the Cabela's online shopping system.

Meh, had another Cabelas order cancelled today, the Win M-22's that popped up earlier. Don't really understand it, ordered as soon as the post appeared, everything goes through...says processing for a few hours then changes to canceled - no reason given. It's starting to **** me off, actually. No such issues with the other vendors like PSA, OA, Natchez, etc...only Cabelas.

Yes! Thanks to all who post the ammo links. Picked up 800 rds (500 Blazer, 300 CCI Tactical) today from my local Cabelas that I ordered a week ago. Also ordered 2,000 rds of M-22 this morning and got a confirmation shortly thereafter. Those will be in next week. Love this forum!

CCI was .08/rd

I can't believe someone posting an ammo link, and bragging about scoring two boxes (550 round Federal) for 18 cents a round! Has everyone gone nuts?

I don't know if I got in on a sale or special deal, but my 1,700 rounds cost me 7¢ a round.

My 9mm order cost me 30¢ a round for practice ammo and 88¢ a round for defense ammo.

You have terrible luck with Cabelas... I would call them or chat with them. They are friendly on chat. I had one hang, and I wasn't sure the order went through. She made sure it went and sent me a confirmation email.

I am DONE with cabela's. They discriminate against Illinois residents. Despite my attempts to order ammo through the links here, they always claim they don't have it. If I didn't need to call to order, I'd have no issues with buying ammo. They refuse to admit the ammo is in stock and refuse to sell to me. I'm simply done with them.

The links are a view of a previous shopping cart, made when the items were in stock. Think of it as a snapshot, taken when the items were in stock. When you click checkout, it refreshes and shows only what is available in stock at the present time.

Point is, it doesn't... at least all of the time. Take today for example, when I clicked checkout, 2 items went into my cart... the Blazers & M-22s. Yet, at any time you click on those actual items, it takes you to their real page & the page says out of stock.

Last time I tried this, my orders were cancelled. Today, I have yet to get any email from them regarding the order. When I look at my account, it still says "In Process".
