Don't ever forget that you've been a breath of fresh air, as well as a bucket of Bravo Sierra, for to many of us for way to long. So I guess ya gotta keep it up.

Don't sweat it Rusty. We know of your health issues, and we all can get a little "offensive" once in a while. You're OK and we all know it. Carry on.
Rusty, first off, you've never offended me. Besides, as my mom used to tell me, "Don't dish it out if you can't take it." And, as you well know, the folks on this forum can sure as heck dish it out (as well as take it).
So, I sure wouldn't worry about it.
But seriously, my friend, don't get down on yourself. And believe me, I can identify with you somewhat, because I've found that the toughest guy on the old mule packer here is me myself. And trust me, I'm a brutal task master.

We take responsibility for what we've said or done because deep down we know our morals, values and judgment are sound. If that were not so, I feel life would have given up on us long ago.
I wish I was enough of a wordsmith to explain why none of this matters. If a legacy is left after we're gone it remains in the people we affect in the here and now. You've touched a lot of people and I doubt it was because you felt it was to make up for some perceived shortcoming for your humor and wit and genuine ability to care shine through any misgivings you may have for your previous words or actions.

I consider you, as I consider nearly 7 billion other people, an unmet friend. There isn't really a lot you could do that would change that status. Maybe we'll meet, maybe we won't. But either way, just continue to be authentic, speak your mind, and say what's important first so the less important stuff sinks to its proper level. I kind of get the feeling you do that already.
We are all making the same journey, and we are all going to end up in the same place -- ignoring for the moment some minor theological differences. Do what you have to with your journey to be comfortable with it.
Good to know you, man, if only through your posts. Keep your faith in what's good. Keep your trust in what's right. Don't worry too much if you find out some people disagree with you. I mean, what do they know? We're all just making best guesses.

Well you've never offended me either. In fact I've never seen any actual offensive posts submitted by you although you have to understand it takes a lot to offend me. It seems to me you are very well liked by all on here and I feel sure everyone would agree with me on that.
