Walked into the Kittery Trading Post the other day and found an Elmer Keith M29-3 sitting on the shelf. The gun is anib, unfired except for the factory test firing and came with the presentation case and all papers and accessories. The only thing I didn't get was the cardboard box it came in. I have no other safe queens or commemoratives, and I know that as a rule they aren't worth anything extra, but being a big M29 fan, I was drawn to it and it ended up coming home with me. I've got a bunch of 29's and 629's with all barrel lengths from 4" to 12" and my 4" 629 was tuned by Andy Cannon so I figure why shoot this one. I paid $725 which I figure was a pretty fair price. What do you folks think, am I nuts!
