It sounds like he screwed up from the git-go. He should have avoided states like New Jersey. He should not have had any guns in open sight if he decided to go there. He shouldn't have parked in a private parking lot as some places consider that to be trespassing. And he should have taken the ninety days. I don't agree with New Jersey's laws but it is their laws. I do have the option to not set foot in their state.
 
So he turned down a 90 day sentence, posted $ 100,000.00 bail, skipped his trial expecting to be acquitted, and returned to Texas. People who make decisions like this, and possess numerous firearms (in NJ no less), simply give more ammo (pun intended) to the anti-gun lobby. This gentleman's bulb isn't burning to bright.
 
There's more to his story that sounds fishy than don't. At the very least this guy is not the sharpest knife in the draw, his behavior in TX indicates that he is pretty shady as well.
