Perfect candidate for a Gothic "Heaven and Hell" engraving theme! Even the "CCC" seems relevant.

US 2 across Montana eastbound, you'll notice that the last few mile markers seem to be placed at less-than-one-mile intervals... allowing them to increment up to MM #666. Bizarre but seen it myself.

The 420 mile markers get stolen a lot here in Colorado.
