An older gentleman I've known for years told me this morning that he is parting out his gun collection and I've been given first dibs on them if I'm interested...which of course I am! I went over to his house this morning to take a look and he sure has a number of good ones up for grabs. This fellow has always taken very good care of his stuff...and his gun collection is definitely no exception. This is possibly a great opportunity but I need a little advise. This is what he has and what he's asking:
Smith&Wesson 629-1 Stainless .44mag 6" $500
S&W 586-1 .357mag 6" with full lug 98% like new $500
S&W 15 .38spl. 4" (no lug), pinned barrel, adjustable sights in 98% condition $400
S&W 28-2 .357 pinned bbl, recessed cylinder 6 1/2" with half lug in 90% condition and asking $450
S&W model 41 7" barrel in 85%+ condition $600
Ruger New Model Blackhawk .30 Carbine 7 1/2" blued, 98% condition w/ box $300
Ruger New Model Blackhawk .45LC 4 1/2" blued 95% condition no box $295
Ruger New Model Blackhawk .357 7 1/2" blued 95% condition, w/ box $255
Ruger New Model Blackhawk .357 4 1/2" blued 95% condition $300
Ruger New Model Super Blackhawk Stainless 5 1/2" .44mag with round trigger guard (not dragoon style) $315
Ruger GP100 4" blued, w/ box .357mag 98% $310
Taurus .38spl snubby (about 1 1/2") blued, like new 99% $245
Taurus 172 pump action 17HMR carbine blued 95% $150
Ruger M77 .30-06 Older style with tang safety with cheap scope $275
Kimber 1911 Custom TLE II with Kimber Crimson Trace laser grip $700
Colt Huntsman 6" (serial number 305898S) in 95% condition (only very minor wear on bluing around the barrel edges of muzzle), no box $350.
Colt New Frontier revolver in .22lr with what looked like about a 5 1/2" barrel. It looked to me like that gun has an aluminum grip frame like the Ruger Single Six...although I'm not positive on that since I didn't hold a magnet up to it to verify. That one is just like a brand new gun but no box either. It doesn't even have the slightest hint of a cylinder drag line so I'm guessing it has probably never even been fired.
Any of these stick out like a exceptional deal or are they priced about what they are worth? Any recommendations are very much appreciated!
