They do understand this is not a game and its not high school? One upping each other is not appropriate when it comes to peoples lives and the constitution.

I also think these states need to start applying these rules to everyone except military. I think if there is a civilian limit it should go for all civilians not just the ones they deem unworthy.

Looking over their murder and crime rates, I am not going to Calif unless I can carry an assault rifle open, with a big assault clip high capacity ammunition feeder device. Minnesota is a calm peaceful place, as long as you stay out of Minneapolis, and even Minneapolis is safe compared to the cities in California. We have "shall issue", black guns, and standard capacity magazines (for now) and our murder rate is lower than Canada and matches England.

I wonder which explanations are they going to give when after implementing this ban some crazy evil guy kill some people using some rifle with a detachable 50 rounder magazine. They know that felons will not comply with any law, their only purpose is to disarm the people.

When I say that keep in mind Police officers = Civilians. The only non civilians are FBI, CIA, Military. I bet money if we start taking away guns from police officers there will be untold out cry not just from the police officers them self's but from the community's as well. I think people forget that while Police officers are special members of the community there still civilians and should have to follow the same rules they in force.

I say whats good enough for a normal citizen is good enough for a police officer since they will be facing the same threats as each other in the real world.
