I just read this article.

Andrews Car Dealership Offering Free Guns For Vehicle Purchases - KWES NewsWest 9 / Midland, Odessa, Big Spring, TX: newswest9.com |

Curious as I am I had to call and ask. So yes, it's true and it's going pretty good she said.

Benny Boyd Andrews | Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM | Odessa TX

Unfortunately they have no clue when the RAM Rebel is supposed to hit the dealerships :( Now that would be a nice purchase...

Oh Lord. How did I know this was in Texas when I saw the thread title?

I think I'll save money and just buy the gun. Also wish they would at least have a selection of some sort

Come on...

Yes, they could just give out $400 coupons for a certain gun store. But that's not the point and obviously not what they want. They sent a strong Pro 2A signal out to the nation and I think it's awesome. More businesses should do that.

Way to go Texas!

Oklahoma--is not in Texas--it's just an extention of Texas.:D

Yes, I'm aware of this, having lived in both states most of my life. The article says that Andrews is in West Texas, or did I misinterpret that?

"ANDREWS - Benny Boyd Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep in Andrews is using a unique marketing technique that's allowing West Texans to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights, the right to bear arms."

Google shows the dealership to be located in Andrews, TX.

The dealership is in TX yes.

And OK is not an extension of TX, the difference is like day and night, believe me, we are just 30 min from the border and celebrate every time we cross the President George W. Bush bridge and pass the "Welcome to Texas" sign :D

There was the bank,I believe in Nebraska, that used to give Weatherby rifles in lieu of interest for Certificates of Deposit.

National Bank of Colorado in Boulder, I came within a bug's eyelash of sending $1400 for 12 years for 257 Weatherby rifle. The wife squashed the idea -- she said no interest money -- just didn't appreciate a free rifle.
