Anybody know a outfit that can anodize a 1911 commander frame?
Or this a thing of the past

please P.M. me as i have more questions ,have you used any of these ? I have a 1911 commander in need of refinishing the frame

I haven't used any of them, but I'd probably not use Tech Plate due to some complaints on the quality of polishing done for their hard chrome.

I can't personally recommend any of them since I never had a customer gun re-anodized.

I don't know if they still offer aluminum refinishing, but you might contact Colt and ask if they'll do it.
