And yet another 36 with help needed for dating. Flat latch, round butt, 378144. Wish the original stocks were there but I like the ones on it for my hand size.

Mine at 353xxx shipped in September, 1964. That's just a ballpark for yours, but it might help you as an estimate.

Yup, the S&W that started my addiction was a slightly newer M36 with a set of those same Herrett stocks and a nice Eubanks Pioneer Leather rawhide laced holster.
