Gosh darn it (I'd say what I'm really thinking, but those pesky rules....) I hate you guys!
OK, not really. I was reading our good friend RufusG's post about "Aftermarket 69xx grips" when I saw the all-too-familiar name, Robertson's Trading Post. I've made a few purchases from this Tennessee shop before and always found them to be great to do business with, so I went on over to GB to see what those grips looked like. (And by the way, for $17, those are a great deal.)
Of course, I had to see what else they're selling, because why not, right? I started with revolvers and saw a few interesting things before I changed my parameters to semi-autos. Well, wouldn't you know, literally on the last page of those was a 3913 in VG-Exc condition!
Well, you know the rest. $419, $434 delivered. Gonna call it my week-late birthday gift. I'm adding some photos from Robertson's ad.

Great pickup GerSan69! I just noticed that the 3913 has checkering on the grip like the PC and TSW pistols do, while most of the standard 3rd gens I've seen have the vertical striations instead. Even more reason to love the 3913!

I know! That price triggered my impulse-buy-syndrome big time.
And this is after I just bought a surplus Beretta 85 that I haven't even picked up from the FFL yet.

Ha! I know the feeling well, been on a bit of a buying spree this last month or so myself.

When you see a great deal on a gun and are in a position to jump on it, it's almost like you're losing money by not buying it... :D

I am so glad you said that. I've bought 11 guns so far this year. The buyer's remorse didn't settle in until this last one, because I haven't even had time to pick up #10 from the FFL before dropping the hammer on this 3913.
Maybe I'll slow down until after the first of the year. Maybe.

Yeah, I've got a handful of guns that I still haven't even fired yet from this last year. I tell myself the same thing, that I'll hold off on buying any more for a while, but then I spot an amazing deal, and... :o
