Well, thanks to howiema, I'm now the proud owner of another Model 10. It's a -7 snub, some holster wear on the high spots. I wrung it out over the weekend, about 400 rounds & it did pretty much what I expected; 158 LSWC shot to point of aim, the 148 HBWC were a bit low. To make a long story short, it shot honorably & well. It has a tendency to lead a bit right @ the end of the forcing cone, nothing that a few strokes of a bore brush couldn't take care of. Of course, I was shooting commercial cast bullets, I think once I start loading some of my own, that may go away.

I'm beginning to think that I might have a problem with Mr. Grashorn's stocks, that or I've decided to put his grandkids through college :p. Is there a 12-step program for stag stocks??

They sure look good! It is a good thing that all of my Smith revolvers have target grips on them. I don't remember seeing stags in targets. Every set but 1 of magnas have been sold. Bob

Nice trio! I try to not get stag addicted - I have two (a Ruger Bearcat, an old one, pre-all changes, and a circa 1932 .38-44 Heavy Duty), they're gorgeous, I'm controlling myself......

All-

Thanks much for the responses, (& the "likes"); I believe that I've found my new carry revolver! I've got another T-grip coming and now all I need is some good leather. Thanks again to howiema, (he responded to my WTB in less than an hour!); I'm as happy as the proverbial pig in ...;). Take care

-Klaus
