I had a similar experience with this company, where it appeared the item was in stock but a few days later I was notified it wasn't. Inconvenient yes. Reason to bad talk a company online... no.
I run a business too & wonder what would happen to me if I was bombarded with orders, as never before. Yes, some companies have pretty darn good, real time inventory systems, but do you really want to bash every company that was not 100% prepared for this rush to order everything gun? Heck, the class 3 dealer down the road had to lock the door & tell walk up customers to go away, so that they could attempt to handle the rush of online orders.
In my situation, my card was not charged & I was given the opportunity to cancel or backorder. I hold no grudge for this company & understand these are trying times in this industry, and would gladly try them again when everything gets back to normal... whatever that is.
