I have left Duracell use for over two years. I have had too many things lost to their leaking, swelling poor excuse for batteries. Flashlights, a nice headlamp, clocks, just too much to be a fluke. You just don't realize how many things in your house have batteries resting in them.
I was in my garage the other day and spotted my nice self darkening welding helmet. I got this cold feeling that I hadn't checked it's battery. Sure enough when checked it had a crappy copper top. The battery was leaking on both ends, but I think I found it just in time. It cleaned up well.
Duracell is wasting it's money with all their TV commercials now. I will not buy another Duracell battery.
