I was scanning the news at the "Men of Easy Company" site and read that Darrell "Shifty" Powers passed away on the 17th. He was 86 years old.

Sad news, I have nothing but respect for all that serve--I will say they are heros even though they will tell you the real heros are buried on those battlefields and in cemeteries. Thank you dose not even start to say what is due to those who protect/protected our freedom.
