Greetings, everyone!
I used to shoot a lot of black powder rifles and pistols when I was growing up. Both parents were members of the North-South Skirmish Association so I was around Civil war era guns quite a bit!
I got out of shooting and into other things for the next forty years. Now I'm wanting to get back into guns in general and start target practicing again!
I do not have a S&W(yet) but have been researching an issue with an old Savage model 29 that was my Grandfathers, my Mothers and now mine. Searching the net revealed a thread in the lounge that may help me get this thing operational again after close to forty years of sitting in a closet. It was a great shooting rifle and am eager to get it fixed and start using it!
I hope to stick around and learn about the many S&W models out there too.
