S&W forum rocks! I've been trying to get ahold of one of these since they came out. They're rare as hen's teeth in the Free States and even harder to get in Kalifornistan. Thanks to forum member AR_Black I'll be picking this one up the 27th. Thanks for the hookup John. :D

The wife thinks it's beautiful and says she understands why I've been like a little kid waiting for Christmas. She's already tried to claim it. :(

I have had mine since August, its no big deal, try to control yourself.;)

I took mine out yesterday for the 2nd time. Shot some 185 gr LSWC powered by Bullseye.
I even amazed myself,;) damn accurate, all in a 1-2 hole at 15 yards. I had almost given up on SWC bullets as had a hard time getting them to feed in some of my guns, so was using RN and Flats.

I put Pachs on mine so it doesn't look as nice but I can hold on to it better.

Your gonna like it. For the money it's a great gun.

American made, stainless "70" type without all the usual Kalifornistan safety nonsense like those entry level Croation 1911s that are so popular, and at a lower price. What's not to like? :D

When the wife was done drooling over the Ruger she went over & started fondling one of those little SIG diamond plate .380 pocket guns...

Wasn't the magazine it was loading them to the exact OAL. Worked in some guns and not others. I wanted one to work in all my 45's. It was a weird short nose SWC. I used them up and got a different brand.

I keep hoping that ruger will bring out a SR in .38 super, would like to have a matched pair in .45 and .38 Super. My .45 is also very accurate (much more so than my eyes) and has run flawlessly with about 1000 rounds of various factory ammo.
