Another Trip Around the Sun

Today I managed to finish another trip around the sun, my 77th.
Got to spend several hours at the range, shooting my ole .243 and some .22's.

Before I left, my lovely wife of almost 56 years, did a great breakfast including homemade buttered biscuits, eggs, sausage, bacon, fresh homegrown tomatoes, fresh jalapeno pepper, grape jelly....... Did I leave anything out?

Oh yes I did. When I got back there was a wonderful fresh lemon pound cake on the table.

It's perfect weather here, 75° at the moment.

We are supposed have a family gathering in about a week to celebrate birthdays and wedding anniversaries.

I am a blessed man, and I thank God every day for my family.
