My wife asked me what this was mounted on the board. I have no idea. It was hanging on the wall at a Cracker Barrel. I told her to snap a pic of it. I knew some guys who could tell us. Don't let me down!:D

It is the lower seal housing of a gear box used on a Savura machine manufactured in the 1920's and early 1930's by IMASKR United in K.C. Missouri.

I'm not familiar with this machine, and google wasn't much help. What did the machine do? Was it some type of farm implement?
