another 'what year' thread

My 27-2 has an SN of 332xxx. It has 3T's and a presentation box. I read where this means it was shipped after September of 1975? Can any one verify when it was born?

If there is an N in front of that number, 1975 is a likely ship year. If an S, more likely 1969. A precise date would require a factory letter:

For what it's worth, I don't know the ship data, but I purchased my 27-2, sn# S 3144xx in 1963.

The serial number begins with 'N', sorry to have omitted. Thank you very much for the information.
