of the internal lockwork of S&W revolvers?. I read where it is less than .001 in thicknes and slicker than snot. would this help with the action smoothness or is it not worth the cost? would it possibly mess up the timing?

Any help appreciated

I had a colt anaconda that had the internal's NP'd and the rogard outside. Didnt seem to hurt it any although I didnt really notice any function difference it sure looked incredible.

I note you said "had" but do you still "have" any pictures of that beast?

The problem with NP3ing internal action parts is that it tends to wear off under friction. It's better for external surfaces to protect against water, sweat, salt water, etc.

Hard chrome internal parts after they've been polished and you will be very happy.
