Any breakfast cereal fans here?

Like granola sorts or Muesli.

Eat mainly oatmeal now. Kroger store brand has a nice oatmeal with brown sugar that I add packaged raisins to.

I also like Cheerios and shredded wheat, both supposed to be good for you.

I do sometimes add blackberries or sliced strawberries.

Grape nuts are awesome. They'll also keep your internals running like a German train schedule.

I just had some for dinner and now having fiber over-load. :eek:I guess if I start eating cereal more often, I better ease into it. Just had a piece of bread to help me feel better.

Honey nut cherrios. Good for snacks with milk(bowel)

I'm hooked on,

Frozen waffles eggs 10pk. For breakfast just one.

I almost picked both of those yesterday--almost. Probably next trip for that kind of stuff.

I am fond of Crispix. Low fat and fairly low sugar (and tastes good, too).

But, truth to tell, eggs and ham is better. :)

Bob

I forgot about those and havent had any for several years. Think ill get some when I go for more Grape Nuts.

I like Kix, the plain kind. When I was a kid my mom made an evening snack from it. She skillet fried Kix in butter until the little kernels were golden brown then salted it. I liked it better than popcorn.

Never heard of that but, ill have to try that too.

Promise not to laugh! Capt'n Crunch. Before that it was fruit loops. But I always go back to my all time favorite.....Kellog's Sugar Frosted Flakes and Tony the Tiger.

I know, I know....

I used to eat Captain Crunch dry--I like the version with the "berries." I grew up on the flakes too.

Honey Nut Cheerios, or usually the Kroger clone, with a little plain (unsweetened) soymilk. But that's an evening snack, not breakfast. If I eat cereal for breakfast it's oatmeal or Cream of Rice. Hot Ralston if I can find it, but haven't found it for a long time.

I use All Bran to make cranberry-orange bran muffins.

I used to be cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs as a wee lad. Trix was high on the list too, as was Fruit Loops.

Now? Oatmeal every day.

Boy that takes me back decades. I also used to like some cereal that I think was called: Monster Cereal?? That stuff never stayed on the store shelf or in a box long.

I'm a granola or great grains girl. I like the cereals from the bulk bins at the gourmet hippie stores the best. There's a cherry almost granola I like a lot and one with flax and hemp seeds.

Hey, if my grandmother had her way I'd still be eating Farina. When I was a kid Cream of Wheat or Farina would be the cereal du juor at grandma's, and I was at grandma's alot!

Cream of Wheat is another favorite of mine. I picked up a box of it a month ago and forgot I had some.
