Any Fans of Audio books?

....I'd be interested in learning more about free services. The local library is great too. You (not me of course, it's illegal, eh-hem) can download the Library CDs on your computer and then listen to them on your phone.

If you are in the Atlanta-Fulton county library system area they have the "Overdrive" system. You can download from home.

The drawback to this system is they seem to have only 1 or a limited number of copies of each audiobook. You can put one on hold so when it is returned you get it. Some of the books are MP3 format and some are WMA which is a smaller file most are available in either format.

There is a limit, probably 5, that you can have checked out at one time. MP3 can be returned when finished and come off your checked out list, WMA can not be turned in you have to let it expire. I don't know if all libraries are the same but this is how ours works.

They are great when taking a long trip across country in your car.
Some people are really skilled at changing their voice and giving
you the impression that others are talking.

We like the mystery type, so we can try to solve the case before
it ends. Usually a 3-4 CD story.
