Hello forum members; I have the S&W CS9 and wanted to get a friendlier grip, and found these listed below from KSD:
Smith Wesson CS 9 Grip - KSD GRIPS

I was inquiring if anyone has any personal experience with this company and specifically installing them on a CS9?? Are they thinner than the factory Good Years?
Thanks in advance

I bought these grips shortly after acquiring the CS9 about a year or so ago. They are thinner than the factory grips but not as thin as the modified delrin grips that some people have on their CS9's.

I bought them during a sale the company had and don't regret the purchase at all. They are comfortable and fit my small hands/short fingers much better than the fat grips that came on it.

I bought a set of grips from them a year ago on Black Friday. I ordered on the Friday and had them here in Canada at my home on the Monday 3 days later. They also gave me 40% off because of the Black Friday sale. These were for my 627 5" Stainless revolver and fit exactly perfect. The workmanship is superb on them.

Look up a member named Tercgen, he makes superb grips for the cs9 and cs45. I have his grips on both of those pistols, they are amazing.

I had the ksd grip on my cs45, it’s looked great, but didn’t make the gun fit in my hand any better. I put the tercgen grips on and then the cs45 became a perfect fit for me.

I think their quality and appearance are good. I have a set for a K/L-frame revolver that I don't need and tried to sell but there wasn't any interest. They aren't eating anything so I'll just hang onto them.

I have had them for a couple autos. They look great, but have some kind of quality about them I didn't like - sort of like the feel of balsa wood. I went back to plain old black plastic as it felt more solid.

Thanks for all the reports and information. I ordered a set from Tercgen after all the positive recommendations from the various threads on the forum. Once I get the new grips, my CS9 may be called to duty. I do prefer DA/SA over a striker for concealed carry.

You are absolutely spot on....I had the same impression when I first installed them.....balsa wood analogy is a good way to describe it.....I always felt like the grip was "hollow"......but I did like the way it fits my hand and eventually just got used to it.....and all this time I thought it was just me that thought that;)

Received my KSD grips for 3913 today. Fit and quality is nice and feel is similar to stock plastic grips, but a bit fuller since the model I got seems to have a bit of palm swell. Communication was good and delivery was fast, considering coming from Turkey. I can recommend KSD to anyone considering a purchase.

The model grip I got was only listed for the 3913 TSW on their website, but they were able to make one for my standard 3913.

I got the "Black Walnut" material, which is apparently the walnut version painted with a light layer of satin/flat black paint. If didn't know better, it would be difficult to tell it was painted. The grip surface feels about like smoothly sanded wood. The wood grain is "almost" visible under the paint, and I think might show a bit more after use (which I like). Grip texture feels less aggressive than it appears, and overall surface feel is fairly smooth.
