I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with the new version of the woodsmaster (the 750), I have a lot of experience with the 742 and 7400 woodsmaster but not the 750. I have read some reviews about them having extraction issues, but I'm not sure if that was just an early issue when they first came out or if it still exist. Any info is appreciated.

All the input I've received says this model was created to lower production cost while improving reliability.

My 9 year old 7400 has been 100% reliable, but so has the .30-06 M-750 my hunting buddy has used the last two years.

My dad's deer rifle for the last 30 years has been the 742 remington woodsmaster with the same redfield wide field scope on it the whole time, and still dropped 2 deer dead in their tracks just last month with that setup. I carry the remington 7600, which is the pump rifle, but I'm seriously considering picking up a new 750 or if I could find a used 742 or 7400 in good condition I would probably go that route and take the money saved from buying one used and put into a good scope.

If its a 742, you may already know to check the reciever rails that carry the bolt.
I've been told that they were a wear point on older heavily shot 742s.
I have one in 30-06 and really like it. I don't know anyone that has a 750. What were the ejection problems? Failure to eject or extract?

Many extraction issues in 742's are because of dirty or corroded chambers in the barrel. The chamber is not easy to see or clean and tends to not be kept as clean as it should.
