Any Model 67 fans out there?

wonderful weapon. I only have one tiny criticism. It ain't blue. And yes, I am a dinosaur, of the species Coposaurus REX.

Any recent info on the model 67

What are the model 67's selling for now? I'm thinking of picking one up.

The shop also has a mod 15 but condition and price aren't matched in my opinion. I also like to blue.

Ya gott love e m I¿.? It's one of my favorites you have a great gun. Thanks for shari

:p
I just picked up this 67-1 Combat Masterpiece and was wondering if there is a big following for these...they seem to have a lot going for them.

Stainless steel...what's not to like there?

.38 Special...cheap and easy to reload, lots of load varieties, great trail caliber, mild recoil.

Red ramp front, blued rear sights...nice compliment to the stainless, looks great.

Smooth combat trigger...very comfortable.
4" barrel...perfect for packing and hiking.

This is definitely a keeper. Any comments?

that's a great weekend shooter and it looks good hope you have as much fun as I g et as much fun out of it as I do

Jerrywayne,

Prices seem to be all over the place. $350 to $650 is what I have seen lately. The nice thing about them is that they are usually found in high condition as far as the finish goes. If there is a bit of cosmetic wear and tear visible, some elbow grease with a good polishing compound brings 'em right back to new.

I don't see them often. I just picked up a -1 in very good condition, tightest revolver I've owned (that's saying something). No box/papers, Hogue rubber grips (quickly replaced)...I paid $400 and would buy them all day at that price.

This is the one I just picked up. Going out to shoot for the first time today. Crazy tight gun...mentioned above $400 with rubber grips. I've replaced those. Not a great pic, and upside down to boot since posting from my phone, but you'll get the idea.

I handed a 67-1 to the gunsmith yesterday.
Action job and fibre optic front sight so the safe queens out there will be worth a smidgen more, but I have a little plan to compare K, L, N, and Colt for IDPA shooting.

IMO you'll find that anyone who's shot either a model 15 or 67 is a fan. To put it simply, the 4 inch tapered barrel K frame is noteable because it's the finest balance of features you can find in a revolver. Be it the balance of power and recoil, balance in the hand, or the balance between sight radius and practical accuracy, the tapered barrel 4 inch K frames are the pinnacle in terms of balance. As a result, if you need a handgun that allows you to get it into action quickly and allows you to shoot it effectively, the 15 and 67 will be the easiest to master and get up to speed fastest with.

Exactly! I have SIGs and Glocks but if you really want to hit something in a precise fashion a M-15 is hard to beat. I sometimes wonder if these semi autos are really much in the way of progress.

I am a fan of the 67, although I have never shot one :) I have a 15 that is fantastic. I finally landed a 67 and will pick it up as early as tomorrow afternoon but more likely on Saturday. Will post pics shortly after pick-up.

Well, I could not wait until Saturday. Left work early to pick this up. It came with beat up grips, so I replaced them with a set I just bought from another forum that arrived today, as well [emoji16]

I bought mine a few years ago from a fellow who had polished it (I'm not a fan of stainless steel guns that look like a 1950s car bumper) with no stocks for $300. I spent $115 with my gunsmith having the brushed stainless finish restored and the action cleaned and lubricated while it was apart and added a set of my checkered target stocks. I also obtained a like-new set of the correct square-bottom Magnas for it.

I haven't shot it as I have a lot of other K-frames that aren't as unique as these older guns with stainless sights.
