There was something wrong with Tuesday's show, at least to me. The whole story was weak, nobody did any serious acting, and there was a distinct anti-gun flavor. Like they had another team of writers or something. Anyone concur?

That's what I got out of it. I think they have run out of ideas for stories, which is the problem for long running series.

I'm a fan of the show and have been watching it since it's beginning. I agree that this past week's episode was a little weak and did notice the anti gun statements. They seem to be in 'test mode' since Ziva left and looking for the right mix to strengthen the show. They've had some less than stellar episodes over the years (almost like they've been thrown together at the last minute to meet a deadline) and I'm hoping the present situation is just a case of growing pains.

That's what I was thinking too. They might have had several episodes w/Ziva already in the pipeline, and her replacement was unsuitable to play Cote's part.

I like the show, but they do seem to a problem with story lines.
How many times can you do ' get your gear, dead Petty Officer.'
I got a bunch of stories about my old buddy Milt who spent many nights with the 4077 MASH. Yes, there really was one. Later he wrote story lines for the show. All based on true events.

Yep, buddy of mine said he hopes NCIS never visits his house.
It seems they always find the homeowner dead.

I usually catch the re-runs on USA, and every now and then I'll watch a new episode on CBS. I don't like the new girl. She's too awkward and not in a likeable Abbie awkward type of way. I wish they took Nicole Beharie (LT. Abbie Mills) from Sleepy Hollow and made her Cote de Pablo's replacement. I might get flamed for this, but I want a minority female. Cote de Pablo's "Israeli" culture on the show, and her humor, made her a likeable character. It's kinda boring seeing a bunch of white people stand around and solve crimes. ...and yes, I'm a white person saying this.

NCIS? Whats that??:D

Rule #8

Duh yes, I am a fan. Way better then NCIS LA where all they do is shoot people with their Sigs. Never figured that show out. They never do any NCIS investigations, it's all anti terrorist.

If it wasn't for Kensi it would be really bad.:D

I never see them do the things that I remembered NIS agents doing: Investigating ship's store break-ins and busting sailors for possessing weed and/or kiddie porn.

:D

I felt the same way. New writers, producers or director?

If the show continues this way, it will be gone asap.

NCIS needs to return to the style it was before the Ziva leaving/break in the new chick story line.

The McGee/DOD chick is out of character too!

Agreed. Not the same show, but similar topic I feel the same way towards The Big Bang Theory too. I enjoyed the show when it was only the guys and Penny. Now they added Bernadette and Amy. The show's plot is now broken up 50/50 between the guys' drama and the girls' drama.

Well that new blonde bimbo sure isn't the answer-- Besides getting rid of her, they need some new writers.

I cannot find any reality in TV cop shows.

My wife is an RN she cannot find any reality in TV medical shows. We never watch them or much TV.

However I do have several jobs for NCIS.
1. Find out why TV shows in general are dead. Who killed them.

2. Find out who murdered Adams Family, The; - - I love Lucy, The Groucho Marx show, - - - Zorro and even the Ted Mack Amateur Hour.

For back up NCIS can put Car 54, CHiP, Adam 12, Highway Patrol, Dragnet, or the FBI on the case. If all else fails send in Barney Fife.

I don't know what has happened to TV. Now leave me alone, driving and texting is so hard to doooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I couldn't disagree more.

Amy and her [probably doomed] effort to get busy with Sheldon are HILARIOUS. The spanking episode was one of the funniest on TV in the last ten years.

I have to disagree regarding Ziva. We got through Kate being shot and Ziva coming on board to take her place. It will take a while to get over the loss of Cote but given time, the new girl will start to grow on us. I too like her change of pace style as a somewhat awkward "probie". I think as her character develops more and she becomes stronger, the story will improve. Hopefully, any anti gun rhetoric will disappear and we can move on to solving more deaths.

As far as NCIS LA, I like the chemistry there too. The maturing of Nell and the possible relationship with Eric adds a little suspense as well as the situation with Kensi and Deeks.

Speaking of Kensi, whats up with her eye?
