I agree Andy. I've always disliked Sig Exeter, but it's a damn shame to see them alter and cheapen the P210. I can't fault Sig in trying to make a buck, but at the expense of this pistol's legacy? Terrible.
Quality is going to be just like their other stuff in the same price range, like the Legion, not real impressive. How sad.
Of course, the target audience likely won't know the difference.

think positive! At least there will be spare parts available easily for the SIG Sauer Exeter guns! I am certain that they will be needed more than spare parts for the Swiss guns but parts for Swiss guns have become very hard to find - at any price.
I guess an Exeter P210 model will not cost much more than the few old Swiss spare parts I just received and I have two complete hammer units for a service style P210 still on the way and not included. I have seen prices on excellent condition Swiss P210 magazines approaching US$200 in Germany and Switzerland and none to be found here.
